“How to win in life:
1 work hard
2 complain less
3 listen more
4 try, learn, grow
5 don’t let people tell you it cant be done
6 make no excuses”

Often, we find ourselves at the crossroads of life, career, and business (among many things). How do we know which way to go? You can undertake market research. You can seek counsel, hire a coach, or even pray! For me, when I am at a crossroad, I pause, self-reflect, seek God’s wisdom through His word for direction. I am not one to make decisions on a whim! People call me analytical, like to gather all the facts or even conservative in my thought processes. One thing I know is that I am very intentional and deliberate in the actions I take. I seek God’s wisdom. Afterall, the Bible encourages us in the Book of James, Chapter 1:5-8 AMP:
5 If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. 7 For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, 8 being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].
As I continue to ask God for wisdom and direction in faith, may I receive divine grace to remain faithful, remaining in the place of my planting. I never want to run ahead of God! I want to walk lockstep with God’s direction. May I stay patient in the “waiting periods” of life! So help me, God!
