The lyrics of the song states:
“My life is in You, Lord, my strength is in You, Lord
My hope is in You, Lord, in You, it’s in You
My life is in You, Lord, my strength is in You, Lord
My hope is in You, Lord, in You, it’s in You
I will praise You with all of my life
I will praise You with all of my strength
With all of my life, and all of my strength
All of my hope is in You
My life is in You, Lord, my strength is in You, Lord
My hope is in You, Lord, in You, it’s in You
My life is in You, Lord, my strength is in You, Lord
My hope is in You, Lord, in You, it’s in You
In You, it’s in You
In You, it’s in You” – Joseph Garlington
Colossians 3:3 AMP states: “For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.” This verse of scripture reminds us that because of the salvation message we have received, our new and real (post-Salvation) life is hidden with Christ in God. When people see us, they should be able to detect that of a truth, we have been with Jesus! This goes beyond our outward appearance (oftentimes, we get hung up on that), but the behavioral characteristics we display should give people an inkling that we are uniquely different!
“Take time daily to reflect on how much you have. It may not be all that you want but remember someone somewhere is dreaming to have what you have.”
― Germany Kent
May this be our testimony as we hide our lives on God! May we continue to walk under the shadow of the Almighty according to Psalm 91!
“If you want to be reminded of the love of the Lord, just watch the sunrise.” – Jeannette Walls
